SE has announced that they are going to be implementing Patch 1.15a, which is set to go live Wednesday, February 2, it will contain a number of
changes in line with the wealth of player feedback they have continued to receive, such as the way in which skill and experience points are awarded
based on party composition or enemy rank, and the addition of a number of new text commands!
So is anyone else excited about the new update err i mean "Patch".....

| A word from SE!!!! |
Finally a word from the producers after what has all be seemed like a never ending silence during the holidays.
It looks like they may actually listen to the player base this time around. I have personally been swamped with work and school so my lack of activity
is present and I dont know how long it will last but I am on from time to time during the late nights. I have high hopes that SE will bring this game
around in the next few months.

Square has sent out an announcement today regarding the state of FFXIV and changes to the staff. You can read the full article here:

Basically, it all comes down to SE not being happy with where XIV is currently at and so they're delaying the PS3 launch and giving the PC users more
free play until everyone is happy with the game. Thoughts on this?

Here comes a Seraphim Recurring Favorite! The Fishing/Drinking Event!!!

Green Dot Marks the fishing location. We can provide teleports to the nearest Aetherite if needed.
Why : because it's damn fun, gets you some fishing levels, and well its fun to drink and fish.
NOTE: This event is way more fun if you come hang in our voice chat. We use Mumble, and we'll be glad to get you set up if you wish to join the
fun.
Here's the rules for the Drinking Part :D
1. When you catch 2 or more fish or a +2 or higher quality fish, everyone but you takes a sip.
2. When you catch 2 or more + 2 or higher quality fish, everyone but you takes two sips.
3. When you catch a crayfish, the junk of the sea, you have to drink.
4. When you level or rank up, everyone celebrates with a drink.
5. When you die to a hog, you must finish your drink.
6. When someone manages to catch 3 +3's, everyone but the one to catch it must finish their drink. If a crayfish, then everyone including the one that
caught it finishes their drink.
Remember to drink Responsibly
